The Healesville Sanctuary offers a chance to actually see the elusive Leadbeater's Possum in the Nocturnal House, then you can head out to the Kalatha Giant of Toolangi, just 25 minutes away to walk through some very special forest habitat of the endangered Leadbeater's Possum. Healesville Organic Farmers' Market
The Healesville Organic Farmers Market is open every Saturday. Healesville Organic Farmers' Market is run by Permaculture Yarra Valley and has a range of stalls selling locally grown organic fresh produce. Other stalls sell honey, olive oil, bread, wooden toys, jams and preserves, seeds and plants and much more. There is a playground nearby for the kids. The market is held at the park behind Coles on River St every Saturday. |
