In partnership with Patagonia, the Great Forest Trail Marathon is a trail running event that welcomes 120 runners to an impact driven challenge and to collectively raise $120,000 to help establish the Great Forest National Park and protect the biodiversity and cultural significance of the Yarra Ranges and Central Highlands of Victoria.
Take the Challenge
This November is your chance to join 120 runners in a marathon to save the forests and create a park. This is also your chance to get your business involved to sponsor a company team on a 22km or 44km trail. You don’t have to run, many will be walking or jogging. The journey will take your breath away as you traverse the trail beneath the tallest flowering trees on earth. On the 20th of November 2022, 120 trail runners will take on the Great Forest Trail Marathon, a new 44km and 22km trail running event through the Yarra Ranges and Central Highlands of Victoria.
The event aims to raise $120,000 to assist the campaign to establish this part of the world as the Great Forest National Park – and each of the 120 runners is tasked with raising at least $1000 each in order to race.
