Located just 5km from Healesville Donnelly Weir is a serene picnic area that marks the start/end of the Bicentennial National Trail. Constructed around 1891 this is a site of historical significance that was a popular destination for visitation in the early 1900s. To get there turn onto St Leonards Rd off the Maroonda Highway, then turn right onto Donnellys Weir Rd following it until you reach the Weir. There is a shelter, several picnic tables, BBQ and toilet at this site. Mt St Leonards Track (Rd11) and Condons Track (Rd 12) offer spectacular and challenging hikes through Mountain Ash Forest & Cool Temperate Rainforest.
